The future of work: Depth over busyness

At Question Base, we believe the future of work should be less about constant busyness and more about deep engagement, creativity, and putting your team's mental well-being first.

As AI technology advances, we're moving away from the mere role of "digital clerks." A lot of digital manual labor will become obsolete. Just like the shift from analog to digital made many paper-based tasks obsolete, AI algorithms will soon work alongside us, taking care of repetitive tasks so we can focus on what really matters.

But here's the thing – human expertise and experience are still crucial. While AI is great at many tasks, navigating the complex nuances of company knowledge still needs the keen insight of experts. We believe that anyone who's been with a company for more than a year has a wealth of unique knowledge to share.

Question Base was founded on a simple observation: Why do people keep asking the same questions in chat even though there's documentation? This led us on a journey to ask the bigger question: How do people learn from one another in the workplace?

No matter how well-documented a company's knowledge was, we saw the same challenge everywhere. Knowledge experts were tied to Slack, constantly answering "How-to" questions from sales, support, and customer success teams.

Over the past year, we've listened to your feedback and worked hard to make significant improvements to our product. Here are a few key features of the new version that we think you'll love:

  1. Better AI quality: The autoresponder is faster, and answers are more accurate than ever.
  2. Verified Content: You can review and refine AI-generated content before publishing, ensuring that every answer delivered to your team is human-verified and highly reliable.
  3. Autoresponder in DMs: Question Base can now be enabled in your DMs, so you don't have to personally answer repetitive "How-to" questions.
  4. Weekly auto-capture: New learnings are extracted from channels and DMs weekly, keeping your knowledge base up-to-date.
  5. Analytics: Monitor the effectiveness of the answers delivered, gaining valuable insights into your team's knowledge consumption.
  6. Assigning Responsibility: Easily delegate question verification to an expert colleague, ensuring accuracy and accountability.

Important → To access these new features and keep using Question Base, please book a call with our team before May 1st. We'll help you migrate your data and set up the new version.

As for payment, this change marks the end of the free trial period. Going forward, Question Base will cost $50 per editor per month. This allows you to have one account delivering answers to your entire team, with no limits on the number of answers or team size.

If you decide not to proceed with Question Base and the upgrade, no worries. After May 9th, your account and data will be permanently deleted.

If you have any questions or need help, our friendly support team is here for you. Just shoot us an email at help@questionbase.com.

We're confident that you'll find the new version of Question Base to be a valuable asset in automating more of the daily repetitive questions in your Slack workspace.
