Starting your Question Base and Notion integration journey is straightforward. Simply head to your Question Base dashboard to begin connecting these powerful platforms and unlocking their combined potential.
Once you're in Question Base, navigate to the Settings section. Under Knowledge Sources, you'll find the "Connect" button that reveals various integration options. Click on "Connect" to view the available platforms, and select Notion from the list.
Question Base uses Ragie.ai as a secure connector for the Notion integration. When you select Notion, you'll be presented with the terms of service. Review these terms and click "Continue" to proceed with the authorization process. This ensures a safe and reliable connection between your Question Base and Notion accounts.
After authorization, you'll have the opportunity to choose exactly which Notion content you want to connect. Click on "Select pages" to view your available Notion content. You can choose specific folders, pages, or databases to sync with Question Base. Take your time to select the most relevant content for your team's needs.
Once you've made your selections, the system will begin syncing your data. The synchronization time varies depending on the amount of content being processed. You'll see a "Synced" status with a timestamp once the process is complete.
What is being synced?
With your Notion content successfully synced, you can immediately start leveraging your knowledge base. Simply write questions in your Slack channel, and the Question Base bot will automatically provide answers based on your synced Notion content. The bot draws from your connected pages, databases, and folders to deliver accurate, context-aware responses.
