    To import your conversation history, you’ll need to upgrade to Pro. Visit questionbase.ai, go to Settings, and select the Pro plan. This unlocks powerful features, including the ability to import and analyze past conversations from your Slack channels.

Importing your Slack history with the Pro plan is simple:

  1. Go to Settings
    Navigate to the Settings page and scroll to the Slack Channels section.
  2. Import History

During the import process, Question Base's AI analyzes your conversations and automatically generates a set of questions and answers based on the discussions in your channel. You can track the progress of your import and see how many questions have been generated from your conversation history.

After the import completes, you'll see all the questions Question Base has generated from your Slack conversations. Each answer initially shows as "Unverified" to ensure accuracy. Click on any question to review its answer and the original Slack conversation it was extracted from.

  1. Review and Verify: Check each answer for accuracy. If it’s correct, click Verify to mark it as expert-approved, making it easy for your team to spot trusted information.
  2. Remove Outdated Answers: Delete any outdated or irrelevant answers to keep your knowledge base clean and useful.
  3. View Full Context: Need more context? Click Slack Conversation to see the original discussion thread linked to each answer.
